A Faith-Filled Stewardship Adventure
Pastor Phil Vance
Highlights:
- What does God OWN? – EVERYTHING! What do you OWN? – NOTHING!
- God has called us to steward what He owns.
- We are called to be two things:
- Servants of Christ
- Stewards of the mysteries of God
- Stewardship is seen by God as Worship.
Discussion Questions:
- Pastor Phil talked about the “mysteries of God” being the adventures that lie ahead that God is getting ready to reveal. What are some of the mysteries of God that you are looking waiting to be revealed? How can you be a faithful steward of Christ as you wait?
- How has God called you to be a part of His great adventure? What does that look like in your life?
- Our key scripture from 1 Corinthians 4 encourages us to be “servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God” and that “stewards…be found faithful”. How in your life are you being faithful to serve Christ and His church? Where have you been challenged to faithfully steward His mysteries and serve Christ in greater and deeper ways?
Key Scriptures, Quotes, and Definitions:
