Pastor Phil asked, “When was the last time you took your faith for a good jog?” Do the opportunities to exercise your faith come at your own initiation? When was the last time you chose to take a step of faith?

From an eternal perspective, what does what your are going through now look like? How does this perspective change how you feel about your present circumstances?

Martha says to Jesus, “if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” What has happened in your life that seemed to be absent of the presence of God? What hope does the miracle of raising Lazarus from the dead speak to you about those situations in your life that seemed to lack God’s presence?

Lord: (Yehovah) the self existent or eternal. Jewish national name of God. this speaks of God’s self existence not need anyone or anything to live.
