Carpenter Series 301 Lesson 10
How God Made You
Jan 22, 2017
Highlights
- It is God’s Kingdom we are building and we help build it by utilizing our giftings. God has given you a tool box to build with; therefore we need to discover all the tools in our toolbox.
- Every person has:
- A call of God on their life.
- A destiny to fulfill.
- A discovery to make.
- A joy to encounter.
- We were created for God’s pleasure and until you figure out what pleases God, His plan and purpose for your life, you will not find true fulfillment.
- Personality is the inward and outward expression of emotional traits and characteristics that shape who we are, how we act, and what we do.
- God gives us personality but it is also shaped by:
- the environment that we live in
- the home that we were raised in
- the situations and circumstances that we’ve been in
- There is not one personality that is better or worse than another. Together we are an image and reflection of God.
Discussion Questions:
- Share together the result of your personality profile. What do your results mean to you? What do the people in your small group and close to you think of your results?
- What are the strengths and weaknesses of your personality? How does knowing this help you to live in relationship with God and with others.
- Is your personality different at work vs. at home?
- How has God uniquely set you in the body of Christ? How does where He has set you please Him? How is it a pleasure to you?
