Truth is Our Guide

Highlights:

1.) Love said is sloppy love – it is easy, but shallow, and it is fickle. Love done is devoted love – it is hard, but deep, and it is lasting. We initiate our love by what we say, but we demonstrate our love by what we do.

2.) The biggest lie the world believes – there is no God. The next biggest lie is – you cant know God.

3.) The Holy Spirit guides us to truth regardless of how popular thebtruth is.

Discussion Questions:

1.) What love have you initiated with your words and now need to follow it through with action.

2.) How do you reject the false guides in life and tune your heart, ears and mind to the leading of the Holy Spirit.

3.) Who do you know who is missguided? What is the right way to approach them to help them see that they are missguided?

Key Scriptures Quotes and Definitions:

John 14: 15-18
“If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you. No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you.

John 15:26-27
“But I will send you the Advocate —the Spirit of truth. He will come to you from the Father and will testify all about me. And you must also testify about me because you have been with me from the beginning of my ministry.

John 16:13
