What Was God Thinking?

Highlights:

1. Be careful what you put into your mind. It will determine what you do with your life.
A. We must think the kind of thoughts God thinks.

2. Why the tree in The Garden of Eden
A. To see if man would obey
B. To see if man would trust him
C. To see of man would submit to him
D. To see how man would use his free will.

3. God thinks positively about you.
A. A lot
B. All the time
C. Without changing (its permanent)

Discussion Questions:

1. “God says don’t to see if we did.” How has the Lord tested your obedience to His leading?

2. What are you doing with your free will?
A. Its time for self evaluation. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being all for God and 1 being all for you. How many of the choices you make are for you and how many are for God? How did you arrive at the number you came up with? What does the number you came up with mean to you?

3. Take time to share God thoughts about one another. Spend time encouraging one another with the ways we see God in each other. Hearing out loud the truth of who God has made us is a fantastic way to combat the internal negative thoughts.
