Solo de Gloria: for God’s glory alone.

God is using the good, the bad the ugly we will see the glory in it.

Every cloud has a silver lining: every difficulty or set back that causes hrm also has the potential for benefit or good.

Pastor Phil’s definition of Faith: Staying positive in the tough situations because we believe in God and His goodness for us, more than we do the situations that are against us.

Having a positive confession is different than a faith confession.

Good is what God does. That doesn’t mean we have to be fake about the difficulties or tragedies. There is a tremendous upside. God is good in it all.

Lessons from Joseph:

It seemed that no matter what happened to Joseph, he ran it through the filter of God’s providence, God’s sovereignty.

This filter allowed him to make the most of the situation that he was in.

Genesis 50: 19-21

Joseph said to them, “ Do not be afraid, for am I in the place of God? But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive.”

God does all things for His glory and for our Good.

If doesn’t seem good yet, then:

God isn’t done yet.

Wait for it…..

You need to run it through a different filter.

God is sovereign filter.

The Glory is great, investigate in 20-1-8.

Moses and the Burning Bush.

He saw God’s glory from a far off and he went to get closer.

Don’t just stop at face value, investigate.

Looking deeper will reveal God’s Glory.
