Putting Off Procrastination

Highlights:

1.) Our afflictions are light, but they are not futile.

2.) Through struggle, difficulty, and pain greater, more meaningful joys are obtained.

3.) We are called to endurance, not indulgence.

Discussion Questions:

1.) What gains have you seen through God’s use of “light afflictions” in your life?

2.) Share together those things that the Lord has scheduled for growth in your life now. Are you doing your part or are you procrastinating? Why?

3.) Dream about the future together. With what you are being faithful in now, what do you believe/hope that investment will turn into in the future?

Key Scriptures:
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:17-18 NIV

Matthew 7:13-14 NIV

To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.
