Highlights:
1.) Job’s reward for being an upright & fearing God and for shunning evil was testing.

2.) Through all of Job’s testing, he never sinned.

3.) Job’s story was ultimately a story of blessing as a result of trust and faith.

Discussion Questions:
1.) When tragedy strikes, when sorrow comes or when success hits, we do whatever is our lifestyle or habit is (whatever we’ve practiced). What is your normal response to life’s significant events? What would others say is your normal response?

2.) How have you or how are you going through trials? What can we do in these trials to continue to worship God?

3.) After hearing Job’s story, consider what your story will be. What does the end of all of your trials look like? Do you have faith for the blessing of the Lord?

2 Tim. 4:2 – Preach the word of God. Be prepared, whether the time is favorable or not. Patiently correct, rebuke, and encourage your people with good teaching.

Job 1:8 – Then the lord asked Satan, “Have you noticed my servant Job? He is the finest man in all the earth. He is blameless—a man of complete integrity. He fears God and stays away from evil.”
